We all long for true love. But one quick look or listen to movies or music and you recognize how much it has been magnified to an astonishing degree. If we listen to contemporary culture we can easily believe that without true love our lives are meaningless and incomplete. But this puts love, and the one we love, on a dangerous pedestal. Idolizing love as the ultimate source for all of our longings can have dire consequences.
