There's a lot of bad relationship advice in the love songs we listen to. Take for example the 80's hit, I'm Gonna Be: "But I would walk 500 miles, and I would walk 500 more, just to be the man who walks a 1,000 miles, to fall down at your door."
How dumb is that?! You would never be persuaded to be in a relationship with someone because of the distance they traveled.
"But babe, I walked really far to be with you!"
No way! You'd likely laugh at them or maybe even call the cops.
There has to be a more reliable source than love songs for guidance in our relationships. How do we find something we can trust?
